Ken brings over 32 years of experience in aviation to his position at SFAM. A graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University with a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Aerospace Science, Ken's expertise as a 2nd generation aviation professional makes him an incredibly valuable member of SFAM's team. Ken served as an Aircraft Mechanic in the United States Navy and is a veteran of the Persian Gulf War. He is also a Muy-Thai style kickboxer and MMA enthusiast.
As the business manager, Steve is responsible for overseeing the staff, maintaining detailed records on the aircraft in our care, managing the finances, sourcing parts, and everything else involved in "flying the paper airplane" at SFAM. Steve recently joined the team from another industry and is very excitied about his role in the growth and development of our company. In his spare time, Steve enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, cycling and caring for his small but growing collection of reptiles.

A&P with Inspection Authority
Structural repair and Sheet Metal Specialist
Ed brings 25 years of experience in aviation to his position as Lead Mechanic for SFAM, overseeing all maintenance and inspections. Originally from Vero Beach, Florida, Ed is a student pilot with the Baker School of Aeronautics in Nashville. He has one daughter and in his free time, enjoys fishing and scuba diving.

As co-founder and co-owner of SFAM, David brings his impressive expertise as a pilot for over 45 years and a specialist in the aviation maintenance industry for the past 10 years. A 30 year resident of South Florida, David has three amazing kids (a flight attendant, a US ARMY service member and a CPA), and in his free time he enjoys designing and building radio-controlled, control line and free-flight model airplanes. He's currently constructing an RV-7 and restoring a TailorCraft BC-12.

A resident of South Florida for 25 years, Randy combined his enthusiasm for aviation and entrepreneurial expertise an an owner of several businesses to create SFAM, the high-level, one-stop shop for comprehensive aircraft service. Randy is married with three children and in his spare time enjoys skiing, hiking and of course, flying airplanes.
A&P Mechanic/ Inspector
A part of the team since December 2015, Augstin brings 20 years of experience to his role as mechanic/ inspector at SFAM. He holds his A&P, IA, CFI-II/ ATP CRJ 700 rating and is in charge of airplane inspection, sheet metal, engine swaps & rigging, troubleshooting and prop balancing. Agustin hails from Caracas, Venezuela and is married with two children. In his free time he serves as a Christian minister and keyboard musician and has a passion for helping children and people in need. He enjoys quality time with his family, flying and riding bikes.
Michael has been a part of the SFAM team as a mechanic since July 2016. He graduated from the National Aviation Academy in June 2016 and earned his A&P and FCC certifications. Originally from South Florida, his interest in planes began at an early age when he grew up living next to the Boca Executive Airport. In his free time, he enjoys watching UFC, relaxing and spending time outdoors or at the beach.
Michael has joined the SFAM team as a lifelong mechanic who is studying for the FAA Airframe and Powerplant mechanic certificates.
Air Frame Mechanic
William has been a part of SFAM since it was founded. His aviation career began at Boynton Beach Community High School, where he was enrolled in the Aviation Maintenance program. Since graduating from high school, William is currently continuing his education at Broward College in the Aviation Maintenance program and striving to earn his A&P certification while continuing to work as an integral member of the SFAM team.
